Devoted Health’s DSNP is Available for Full and Partial Dual-Beneficiaries

Devoted communication from 11/25/20:

At Devoted Health, we are always thinking about our members and optimizing the care that they will receive. Which is why we’ve been working hard to come up with plans they’ll be excited about. We are thrilled to announce that effective immediately, both full and partial-dual prospects are eligible for our D-SNP plan for 2021 enrollment. It’s simple – one Plan Benefit Package (PBP) to meet the needs of full and partial-dual beneficiaries. For full duals eligible for our D-SNP plan (QMB+, SLMB+, FBDE), all Medicaid and Medicare benefits are available and covered by Devoted Health at no cost plus supplemental benefits! For partial duals eligible for our D-SNP plan (QMB, SLMB), Medicare and supplemental benefits including dental and transportation are covered at no cost.

Don’t Forget:

  • Our enrollment process is easy:  simply fill out the enrollment form (electronically via Agent Portal or paper) for any qualifying prospect and we’ll take care of the rest. Don’t forget you can call our Agent Support line at 1-877-764-9446 to confirm eligibility.  In cases when enrollee still does not qualify for our D-SNP plan, our Prime plan is a great alternative
  • Call them back: contact partial-duals who had previously been denied for D-SNP plan and will now qualify – our team will call you in the coming weeks if you had any denied apps due to D-SNP eligibility this AEP
  • Use updated Summary of Benefits (SOB): you can find our electronic version of new D-SNP SOB here and our local sales leaders will be distributing paper version in a few weeks (be sure to use the most updated version which includes SLMB and QMB beneficiaries moving forward). Available service areas include: Miami-Dade, Broward, Palm Beach, Osceola, Seminole, Orange, Clay, Duval, Nassau, Hillsborough, Pinellas and Polk counties .

Reminder: our $50 Health Risk Assessment (HRA) incentive

Our new D-SNP plan includes lots of free tools and services to help care for our members. To help us figure out which ones might work for new members, we’re asking you to complete a HRA form with your D-SNP enrollees.  For this AEP only, if you complete the HRA form before the end of year (December 31st) for 1/1/2021 enrollment, you’ll receive $50¹ (this is an extension of our 14-day requirement previously).  To complete an HRA form, complete and submit an application in Agent Portal (you can do this regardless of application submission method). We recommend completing the HRA form at the same time as enrollment to ensure completion. It takes less than 10 minutes to complete.

HRA is only used to help match members with Devoted Health services and answers don’t impact an enrollee’s premium or application processing.  And don’t forget, members will receive $25 in Devoted Dollars Visa® prepaid card for completing the HRA and staying enrolled in our D-SNP plan in January.

  • HMO network built to last
    • Partnering with a high-performing PCP network
    • A large specialist network built through collaboration with PCPs to ensure the ones the PCPs prefer are included and that they have proven high-quality outcomes.

Better member experience – it’s in the details

Not only do we offer extremely competitive benefits across the board, we’ve also built our benefits to avoid common member pain points*:

Please remember CMS does not allow  plans to accept PY2021 enrollments prior to 10/15. Enrollment applications received prior to 10/15 for which there is indication of sales agent involvement in the submission (agent name, contact information, NPN, etc) or agent solicitation (i.e. agent date 10/1-10/14) will be investigated for potential solicitation. If the application is confirmed to be solicited, the enrollee will be informed that the application will be denied, and given the option to re-enroll with their agent. A statement request will be issued to the agent, and corrective action will be assigned based on the findings.

Dipping Devoted toes in the water

As Devoted continues to monitor Covid19, they are constantly evaluating how the organization will make decisions regarding field events.   After careful consideration Devoted has decided to resume tabletop events in the field. However,  they are requiring proper personal protective equipment (PPE) to be worn and social distancing to be exercised.  Proper PPE includes mask, gloves and a face shield.  Also, to promote social distancing they encourage using an acrylic divider or two tables.  PPE can be purchased from our marketing portal if you have earned Devoted bucks.

If you would like to conduct tabletop events, please complete the Register an Event form and follow the event guidelines.

Devoted has two PPE kits available

Use the SKU to search for the kits in the search bar at the top of the page:

  1. Phase 1: DH-PHSE1-KIT
  2. Phase 2: DH-PHSE2-KIT

Release Policy & Timeline

As Devoted gears up for the upcoming AEP, if you are thinking about changing your upline affiliation here’s an update on their release policy and timeline:

Immediate Release Brokers will need to get a release  from their current upline on a company letterhead or form dated with a current and future effective date of the release and signed by the principal. The release letter or form must be sent  via email to  agent-support@devoted.com and the appropriate staff must be copied to the email communication from the agency (e.g FMO, GA, etc.) It will take up to 3-5 business days for Devoted to process the request. All parties will be notified via email once the release has been processed.

Delayed Release – If  an immediate release is not granted by a broker’s upline, a request for a delayed release can be made by sending an email to agent-support@devoted.com and include  the intent to be released from your upline. The delayed release email will start the clock for the 3 month (90 calendar days) window. A broker can continue to write business until the 3 month period is satisfied. All parties will be notified via email once the delayed release has been processed.

Are you certified? If not, start Devoted’s 2021 certification .

If you have a  2021 AHIP or Pinpoint certificate,  the process is simple and will save you a lot of time. If not, you can complete their CORE Medicare Training available within their platform at no charge.
