Cigna Extends Deadline for Certification Reimbursement

Cigna MA Broker Announcement form 9/1/21:

NEW DEADLINE FOR CERTIFICATION REIMBURSMENT

Complete by Sept. 15 and meet sales goals for reimbursement

In July when we opened our certification for 2022 sales, we told you we’d reimburse your certification costs if you completed the certification by September 1 and met a couple of other prerequisites, like closing five sales by December 31 and remaining in good standing. Today, we are extending that deadline for certification with reimbursement until September 15!

If you need a reminder, you can review the email we sent our broker partners in early July that mentions this and directs to our Certification Roadmap to better explain. We’re just so excited about the Medicare Advantage plans we have for 2022 we want every broker partner to have the opportunity to offer them to their customers. Reset your clocks: you’ve got two more weeks to complete certification with Cigna!

Cigna Marketing Materials Now Available Via CustomPoint

GET YOUR AEP MARKETING MATERIALS NOW!

New collaterals available in CustomPoint

Marketing materials for AEP 2022 are now available in CustomPoint! Choose from sales kits, comparison brochures, and brochure holders to boost your sales during AEP this year.

A couple of things to keep in mind:

• Materials are available to order now
• Orders start shipping on or after August 31 and are shipped on first in, first out basis
• Please do not duplicate orders that have a “back order” status
• You’ll receive status updates from CustomPoint via email; you can also log in to CustomPoint to track your shipment

Ordering marketing materials through CustomPoint is easy

• Licensed and appointed agents log into CustomPoint
• Hover over Catalogs; scroll down to Sales Materials (Kits, etc.), and click on 2022
• Select the material and the quantity needed, then add the item to your cart; repeat until the order is complete
• Go to your shopping cart and select check out
• Under Delivery Options, enter your name and shipping address and then select your billing address
• Under Order Details, ensure that your name, phone number and email address are correct, then select your carrier/service level
• Under Order Summary, review your order and then submit

WellCare 2022 Material Ordering – Now Available

Beginning August 30th, all 2022 sales materials will be available for order through the CustomPoint materials portal for all health plans and markets.

Reminders:

  • You must be certified to market and sell 2022 Wellcare products to submit an order.
  • You will only be able to view and order 2022 sales materials for plans you are certified to market and sell.
  • Access to CustomPoint, through Single Sign-On, is granted 72 hours after completing certification training requirements.

Subject: Pre-Order Your Medicare Advantage Supplies Now

Pre-orders for 2022 Medicare Advantage materials are now available in the Order Materials section of
MyBrokerLink. This pre-order opportunity will close on Wednesday, September 8, though you will be
able to continue ordering after that date. Only orders placed by September 8 will be guaranteed for
arrival prior to October 1. Any orders received after September 8 will start shipping on October 1 in the
order they were received.

Commission Payment Details:

  • Payments will move from bi-weekly to weekly payouts.

NEW LEAD RESPONSE OPTION NOW AVAILABLE!

A NEW Option for AEP to help get you leads FASTER!

We have a new QR Code option that can be added to your mailer that allows the consumers to request information immediately. Once they scan the QR code and enter their information, you will get an immediate email letting you know you have a new lead.

 

In initial tests, we’ve seen anywhere from 25% to 50% of the respondents choose to fill out the form online instead of mailing back the reply card. Clients that tested this option saw web responses within 3-5 business days of mailing and then started getting the mail back responses about a week later.

WellCare/Centene: Allwell Member Rewards Program Has Changed – Healthy Rewards

As Centene continues to integrate health plans, further alignment of programs may be necessary. Beginning July 1, 2021, the Healthy Rewards program replaced the My Health Pays® rewards program previously available to Allwell Medicare Advantage members across all states. Members impacted by the program transition were mailed a communication in May 2021. What you should know

Your assistance is key to ensuring members have a smooth transition to the Healthy Rewards program. Please take note of the following when speaking with your members:

  • Only Allwell Medicare Advantage plans and members are impacted. There are no changes to the My Health Pays® program for Medicaid and Marketplace.
  • Rewards earned for activities completed through June 30, 2021 on the My Health Pays® Prepaid Visa® Card must be redeemed by September 30, 2021. Please Note: Earned rewards may continue to be added on the member’s My Health Pays® Prepaid Visa® Card through August 16, 2021.
  • The My Health Pays® Prepaid Visa® Card will be closed on October 1, 2021, and any remaining funds will be forfeited.
  • Emphasize the September 30, 2021 deadline for redeeming rewards on the My Health Pays® Prepaid Visa® Card.
  • Click here and select the applicable state to learn more details about the Healthy Rewards program on the Health Plan website.
