SilverScript Application Email Error Notification

Silverscript Agent Email Notification from 5/8/23: 

On Friday May 5, 2023 there was a trend identified of brokers receiving emails in error with the subject “Subject: Your client’s SilverScript application was cancelled.” After researching, the members were still enrolled. 11,704 emails were sent in error. 


The email shares the following information:


Please note that the SilverScript enrollment application you submitted on behalf of your client XXXXX XXXXXX has been cancelled. Most likely this occurred because of one of the following reasons:

  • Your client enrolled in another Medicare plan.
  • Your client requested to cancel the enrollment or change the effective date.
  • Your client is already a member of SilverScript, or a duplicate application was submitted.

We suggest that you contact your client to make sure he or she is aware of this cancellation and that they have arranged alternate Part D drug coverage. If your client still wants to enroll in a SilverScript PDP, then please complete a new enrollment application, validate that the client is entitled to Medicare Part D, and that all fields on the application are correct.

The verbiage below was added into the portal and to our Broker Support reply backs regarding the erroneous emails. We wanted to share in case you receive any questions. If a broker has questions regarding their member’s enrollment status, please direct them to broker support. We will verify if they were sent the emails in error and advise on their member’s enrollment status. 


Update: SilverScript PDP ID Cards

We have received word that there is a delay with members getting their SilverScript PDP ID cards via mail. ID cards are generally taking anywhere from 15 – 21 days for them to be mailed out, plus any delay with the US postal mail delivery also.

AGENTS- you can provide a temporary ID card to give to clients that can be used for ALL SilverScript products in the meantime. DOWNLOAD HERE

Get Started On Your SilverScript 2019 Annual Certification

The first two courses of the 2019 SilverScript Agent Certification curriculum (Medicare Overview and Compliance) are now available via the Portal’s, “I want to…” section of the Toolbar, PDFs of the courses are available via the Portal’s Resources, Reference Materials section.

You can view these PDFs while taking the course quizzes. This provides for a very helpful “open book” test. If you have completed the 2019 AHIP, Pinpoint, or Gorman certification curriculum, we will give you credit for completing the SilverScript Medicare Overview and Compliance courses. Instructions on how to have the credit applied is on the Portal’s Training & Certification page.

The SilverScript product-specific course will be available shortly after CMS approves their 2019 plan designs. Remember to log back into the SilverScript Agent Portal in or after early-August to complete the balance of the SilverScript annual certification curriculum. If CourseMill presents you with a log in screen, then you may need to add [*.] to use tracking cookies in your browser. You may then need to clear your cache, and then possibly cookies and history.

You must complete the 2019 annual certification requirements prior to December 7, 2018 (the last day of AEP), in order to be eligible for 2019 renewal commission.
